AutoShop General Mechanic

I have been taking my LX to Alex over the last few years. He has always been reliable and fair. Very much reccomend.

Gave me a good price to replace coils and spark plugs, but then wanted to charge $45 for a diagnostic for the check engine light, which is cheaper than most, but in my opinion still a rip off… you can get a free check from advance auto or auto zone. Why are mechanics and dealers charging these fees for vehicle older than 2020. Codes a pretty simple. Oh well. Ended up get the fix from another mechanic because of this practice. Disappointing, but generally they seem to have fair /on par pricing. Also if you wait for the car ask for bug spray, you’ll need it here.

Alejandro deserves the 5-STARS I'm giving him and his business. I came in early Saturday morning, because my car (Fiat 500X) wouldn't start. I had to leave the car parked on the street in Wynwood the night before and was worried something might happen to it. Luckily Alejandro said: "bring the car over, no problem. I'll take a look at it". I towed my car to his shop and he immediately went to work. He inspected it and told me that the battery was the issue. I told him I had recently had gotten the battery replace by the dealership and he suggested I contact them to see if I was still under warranty. IT WAS!! He removed the battery, I took it to the dealership and they…

Alex always takes great care of us. Something is messed up on your car, this is where you take it. Fast and reasonable prices.
